J-Pull Range Blind Corner Unit

The J-pull (or J-profile) range is a handleless style where the door has a curved grip routed into its edge, forming a "J" shape you pull to open. It gives a clean, uncluttered look - but at a blind corner it needs a little extra thought compared with a handled door.

Why corners need care

Because the grip is part of the door edge, the J-pull profile changes how doors meet at a corner. Where the corner unit's door and the adjoining door sit close together, the profiled edges must still have room to open without the grips or door edges fouling one another.

Planning the clearance

  • Allow enough setback at the corner post for the profiled edges
  • Check the grip side of each door against the adjoining door
  • Confirm fingers can reach the J-pull without the corner obstructing

Getting it right

Set the corner post so both doors open fully and the grips stay accessible. A two-part or adjustable corner post can help you dial in exactly the right clearance for the J-pull profile.
