What sizes do kitchen wall units come in?

What sizes do kitchen wall units come in?

Kitchen wall units come in three standard heights; 575mm high (short), 720mm high (medium or standard), and 900mm high (tall). Each of these heights are available in a number of different widths too.

Single wall units are available in a number of different widths; 300mm, 400mm, 450mm, 500mm, 600mm. Any larger than that are considered double wall units, for use with two doors on each unit. These are available as 700mm, 800mm, 900mm and 1000mm units.

All our wall units are 330mm deep, plus the depth of the door (if fitted with a door).

What Size Doors Do I Need for Wall Units?

What Size Doors Do I Need for Wall Units?

Kitchen units always needs slightly smaller doors than the actual unit size. For our units, all our doors are 5mm smaller height than the actual units, and 4mm narrower. As an example, this means a standard medium base unit (720mm high x 600mm wide) would need a 715mm (h) x 596mm (w) door.

This is done so that the doors don't catch on each other and damage the edges of the doors.

The following are the standard heights used for each height wall units:

Small Unit (575mm high): 570mm high door.
Medium Unit (720mm high): 715mm high door
Tall Unit (900mm high): 895mm high door

Each of our units are available in five different colours; white, grey, dust grey, anthracite and urban oak.
