We understand that buying your new kitchen online may feel a little daunting at first, so we have created a list of articles to help. As well as those articles, we have written additional information below that we hope helps you buy from us with confidence.
Any questions about shopping with us? Find the information here.
We have tried to make everything as clear as possible on our site, but here are a few things to consider before buying a kitchen from us.
We have a number of different cabinet colours available, however they don’t match the door colour. We would recommend using side panels/end panels for any exposed parts of the units that will be visible.
Handles can be purchased separately, but they aren’t included with the doors. The doors are also not pre-drilled for the handles. You will need to do this on-site. We do however sell a handle jig that can make doing this much easier.
All our kitchens are a one person delivery as standard, although a two person delivery is also an option, at an additional cost, which can be selected at the checkout stage. Please note, the delivery is to the door only. The delivery company will also not delivery up stairs (for instance in flats).
Strictly speaking you do not need to also use glue, however the manufacturer does suggest it is better to use glue on assembly. Glue is not included in the purchase, but any standard wood glue can be used.
People sometimes want undrilled top boxes, for use as a display unit, some want top hung doors, and others want side hung doors. As a result the top boxes are undrilled, and you will need to drill them yourself on-site.
The units do not come with plinth included. You will need to purchase this separately. It is available from within all our door ranges, and it is usual for you to choose a plinth that matches the doors you have selected. Plinth comes in approx. 3 metre length. We are not able to supply shorter lengths.
As it is usual to need end panels/side panels, to hide any visible cabinets, please ensure you order these with the kitchen, and also allow enough room for fitting. They are normally 18mm to 22mm thick, but please check the specific range for details.
The end panels are always oversized. This is to ensure they can be cut down to fit your needs, which varies from one design to another. You will need to cut them down on-site during fitting.
The fixings needed can vary, and are not included with the kitchen. These are available at most DIY and home improvement stores.
We do sell 600mm sink units, however you can also use other sized units, if you cut out the required sink hole from the top of the unit on fitting.
Unfortunately we cannot change the delivery date once the order has been processed. We drop-ship all our deliveries directly from our supplier. Once we have processed, they do not allow us to change, so please ensure you are available on the date specified at checkout, before placing the order.
We cannot specify the time, as it is an all day delivery. We also cannot leave messages with the delivery driver in advance, so please allow the entire day for delivery.
As all orders are drop-shipped directly from the supplier, we are unable to make any changes to the order once this has been processed. You can however send any unwanted items back to us, for a refund, if they are not required. You will need to pay for the return delivery yourself.
